Set up once

Three steps, then your apps handle the rest.

  1. Download and run the Libby installer.

  2. Choose where you want your portable Libby folder to live.

  3. Open any supported Calamity Workshop app. It finds Libby automatically.

Move it later

Your data does not get stuck in one place.

Libby remembers your portable folder. When you move it, simply point the connector to its new home.

  1. Close any apps currently using Libby.

  2. Move the entire Libby folder to your drive, NAS, Dropbox, or another folder.

  3. Open Libby and choose Locate Libby, then select the folder you moved.

Stored by you, not by us.

Your portable Libby folder holds your app data. Libby keeps only a small libby-db connector under your Windows user profile so your apps can find that folder after you move it.

Quick help

When Libby needs directions.

An app says Libby is missing

Make sure the drive or network location is available. Then open Libby, choose Locate Libby, and select your existing folder.

Libby will not accept a folder

Choose the original Libby folder itself—not a folder above or inside it. Libby checks its hidden identity marker before reconnecting.
